From relatively straightforward employment background checks to highly focused investigative research, our investigators are recognized experts in locating and analyzing relevant evidence in litigation. For example, our firm was a pioneer in using social media to gather evidence and locate people, and we were quoted in The Washington Post about ways social media have changed private investigations. Another example of our work assisting in the analysis of evidence in a complicated case was featured on Forensics: You Decide in a Baltimore murder investigation.
Discovery in complicated cases can be voluminous, and the resources to find ex parte evidence can be myriad and often located in obscure locations. There can be mountains of documents to review and analyze, and there are sometimes important decisions to make regarding how to present evidence at trial. Our investigators can identify and make sense of complicated documentary or electronic evidence at a fraction of the cost of an associate. Our firm uses several investigative databases—the same ones used by most major law enforcement agencies in the United States—as well as link analysis, Geo-mapping, and case management software. These resources give us a significant advantage when it comes to researching, analyzing, and presenting evidence in the most effective way.
