Alexandra Becnel
Alexandra is a licensed private investigator in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia, a licensed social worker, and a certified forensic social worker. Before joining Dinolt Becnel & Wells Investigative Group in 2020, Alexandra was a mitigation investigator for the Northern Virginia Capital Defender Office. There, she did investigations on behalf of people facing the death penalty in Virginia. She earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art and her master’s in social work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
Travis McLeod
After five years as a political opposition researcher, Travis McLeod joined Dinolt Becnel & Wells Investigative Group as an investigator in 2021. In his previous career, he conducted research concerning political corruption and electoral accountability. His work was regularly featured in advertisements and media articles across the country. Now he focuses on interviews, background checks and asset searches for our company’s litigation clients.
Kiara Hayes
Kiara Haynes graduated from Howard University with a bachelor’s in psychology and a minor in criminology and Spanish. In 2022, she started at Dinolt Becnel & Wells Investigative Group LLC, where she works primarily on criminal defense cases. Prior to our firm, she worked as an investigative intern with the Public Defender Service of Washington, D.C. Kiara is a native English speaker with Spanish fluency. She is a registered private investigator in Virginia and a licensed private investigator in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
Kelly Guiterrez
Kelly Gutierrez graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a bachelor’s degree in criminology and a minor in psychology. After finishing at John Jay, she moved to Virginia and earned a master’s degree in forensic and legal psychology from Marymount University. During her time at Marymount, she interned with the Fairfax Public Defender’s Office as an assistant criminal investigator.
Daniel Lattimore
Dan Lattimore has been an investigator since 2014. Before joining Dinolt Becnel & Wells Investigative Group LLC in 2022, he spent approximately four years as a criminal defense investigator for the Fairfax County Public Defenders Office in Fairfax County, Virginia. While there, he specialized in fact investigation on serious felonies, including malicious wounding and homicide cases.
